It's odd how similar this feels to Top Gun: Same director, same producers, same star, Cruise gets introduced riding a Harley, no epilogue...it's lots of (decent) spectacle, but it's a pretty shallow affair underneath. See it for Duvall, who makes a great mentor. #filmsky
