#AOTY2025 day 20: the fourth album by Utrecht abstract death metallers, #Defacement, “Doomed”. It sticks to their formula of ambient intro, metal track, ambient segue, etc. But the ambient moments are much lusher and thought through now and the metal is brutal but with gorgeous solos and riffs. 🤌🏻
