Larry, a white anthropomorphic fox wearing a short-sleeved workshirt and tie is attempting to manipulate the so-called 'demon core' which consists of a 6.2 kilogram plutonium-gallium alloy sphere nicknamed 'rufus' resting between two beryllium half sphere neutron reflectors, the lower one larger and resting on a stand and the other smaller, being held up by a screwdriver with his hand resting on top. He is attempting to determine the absolute limit of sub-criticality.
With a clunk, Larry has fucked up by letting the upper hemisphere fall over Rufus entirely, causing prompt criticality. The assembly is surrounded by a white hot glow, and the air around him is glowing blue with ionization. He is depicted as transparent with his skeleton showing, attempting to communicate the absolute destruction being wrought on every single cell in his body.
