Three people stand silouetted before a blue display wall. The wall is covered in banners, t shirts and screens. A large central banner is embroidered with the words 'Disabled people fight back. Equality. Nothing about us without us.'
A yellow poster with a black printed image of a raised fist states 'black disabled lives matter.'
A blue, flat triangular sex toy with a raised mound at the top sits inside a glass display cabinet. It is called an Enby 2.
The #DesignAndDisability exhibition at the Victoria & Albert museum was inventive and inspiring. I've never seen an accessible sex toy before - loved this! The concept of 'debility' was new to me - some communities are more likely to be slowly disabled because of circumstances. Activism = necessary.
