Today's #diecast #DeskCar is the Hot Wheels '57 Jeep FC (2024 HW Hot Trucks). After multiple tries at making an Unimog Tryout Team, I gave up. I don't have Unimogs that fit the car and buggy build. So, I decided to use utility trucks intead.
Today's #diecast #DeskCar is the Hot Wheels '70 Dodge Charger (2017 Experimotors). Originally released as part of the Fast and the Furious line, it will be the car for Snake-Eyes. I just need to apply a matte varnish to dull down the shine. Paint over the red chrome rims and slap on some some guns.
Today's #diecast #DeskCar is the Hot Wheels'70 Chevelle SS (2012 HW Racing). First off, I am really digging the Team Hot Wheels livery. This will be the car for Scarlett and the loadout will have to include a harpoon as the crossbow from her original 1982 release.

Today's #diecast #DeskCar is a trio of cute Hondas. The '85 Honda City Turbo II, '73 Honda Civic Custom and the Custom '70 Honda N600 are not 'Tooned cars exactly, which is why i like them so much. They just look chibified without actually being so.
I use them as buggies in #Gaslands, usually.
Today's #diecast #DeskCar is the Hot Wheels '19 Subaru BRZ (2025 HW J-Imports). This casting is based on a car model that is well outside the scope of the Martian Invasion and I am having second thoughts on using it for #Gaslands. In fact, I might change the lineup of the entire Miyazaki team.
Today's #diecast #DeskCar is the Hot Wheels '98 Subaru Impreza 22B STI (2024 HW: The 90s). The scale on this one feels a bit off compared to the other Subarus on the team, but that's just #HotWheels and #Gaslands for ya. Unlike the Mazda team, I'll probably delete the tampos on these cars.

Today's #diecast #DeskCar is the Hot Wheels Subaru WRX STI (2023 HW J-Imports). I will be using Japanese cars for my Miyazaki team and painting them in manga style. These are late model cars that post-date the Martian Invasion. So, in my head canon, alternate world developed some cars earlier.
Today's #diecast #DeskCar is the Hot Wheels '90 Mazda MX-5 Miata (2025 HW Dream Garage). This car is the winner of the 2023 Hot Wheels Legends Tour and is named "The Chimera". It was built by Chris Watson of Tofu Auto Works in New Zealand. It's a great casting and has solid #Gaslands vibes.
Today's #diecast #DeskCar is the Hot Wheels '80 Mazda RX-7 (2024 HW First Response). Another member of the Miyzaki team, "KYT0". This deco is definitely a keeper as it looks like it just leapt off the pages of a racing manga.

Today's #diecast #DeskCar is the Hot Wheels X-Cceleron (2026 Exoticars). I was not an AccleRacers kid, mostly because I wasn't into Hot Wheels at the time and I was way too old . Still, I've grown to appreciate the series of castings. This one is not an AcceleRacer, but definitely is an homage.

My Mishkin "Moto Ink" teams are trios of animated girls. These are #Huntr/x. I picked out these cars specifically for the windshield tints. They also had to be fantasy #castings of performance cars. This is #Rumi car.
Hot Wheels Track Ripper is performance muscle car painted in aquamarine with burgundy, orange, yellow, & white stripes, "5", "R", Hot Wheels & various logos on sides. It has a red plastic base and yellow plastic interior. The windshield is tinted yellow and it has yellow rim Japanese 5-spoke (J5) tires.
Today's #diecast #DeskCar is the Hot Wheels Track Ripper (2025 Mystery Models - Series 1, #5). Like yesterday's GT Scorcher this is a fantasy casting of a high performance race car. I know very little about this class of cars, but I am trying to learn more.
Hot Wheels GT Scorcher (2024 Let's Race) is a modern take on a Group 5 race car, painted in black with "7", "HWGRFX", pink, light blue, & white stripes, & Hot Wheels logo on sides & hood; purple stripes on sides & roof; "GT Scorcher" & HWTF logo on sides. The base is white, interior is purple and the windshield is tinted blue.
Today's #diecast #DeskCar is the Hot Wheels GT Scorcher (2024 Let's Race). The part breaks are very cool. The white base has side exhausts, the purple interior has side skirts, front splitter and outlets under the rear spoiler. The windshield is also a transparent engine cover, head and tail lights.
Today's #diecast #DeskCar is the Hot Wheels Arachnorod (2006 Mainline). I first used this casting for a Monster High themed car for Cleo DeNile. I liked the casting so much that I got another one, even though I usually avoid getting doubles. It's a big car compared to the others on the team.
Today's #diecast #DeskCar is the Hot Wheels Spider Rider (2015 Multipack Exclusive). This was going to be the "buggy" in a #Gaslands Tryout Team, but it is taller than the Speed Spider and it looked weird. So, I pivoted into building a spider-based team and replaced a potential dinosaur-based team.
The Hot Wheels Speed Spider (2025 Mystery Models) is a diecast car with a metal chassis and plastic body. The body is shaped like a spider, perhaps a tarantula. The vehicle is open top and has a large rear engine. The car is yellow with red and white markings. There is a skull with spider legs painted on the back.
Today's #diecast #DeskCar is the Hot Wheels Speed Spider (2025 Mystery Models). All my Maxxine teams for are animal-based. The concept is that Car-TOONZ is a Saturday morning kids' show which sponsors cars to compete in #Gaslands.
The Arachmobiles team are all spiders and should be a fun project.
