Well, looks like I need to start begging again. My room is paid until Thursday at 11am. I just discovered that my car inspection expired in April, and my license has been suspended. Gmail sends DMV emails to spam, and I just never even thought of it. I'm not going to be able to go seek help until the 3rd (or 4th), I can't even start preliminary stuff via phone, it's all in person which is just unfair for ill and/or disabled people. The motel said they would beat booking dot com, so 7 days for $407, plus an extra $10/night for Baby. $485 total I guess, because of the indtant transfer fee.

Above a pic of my white and tabby kitty, “I just found a second lump, this one on Buddy's neck. The Vet had said it was an aggressive and invasive cancer so... we have an appt tomorrow to discuss quality of life options. He's still doing quite well, and spends the majority of his time purring while snuggled up to me.”

I messed up last month; bills and late fees followed me into this month - leaving me with a shortfall of about $250. I get my check early from my bank so last month is paid, and it wasn’t as bad as it could be, but I’m not going to be able to pay either my car insurance or my rent without help. I have housing court in 2 weeks, so late rent is not a good idea, and the daily fines for lapsed car insurance (not to mention the premium they charge to reinstate insurance) are astronomical.

Someone hit my car and left a big nasty gash along the front of the hood, cracked the light casing, and I'm nearly certain caused whatever is making the car pull to the left. I don't know how or where it happened, but I do know I didn't do it. Deductible is $500 and I don't have it. I also owe my mechanic $100 and need my oil changed. I desperately need to switch insurance companies and save $160/mo but I can't until I take care of the repairs, and I also can't get it repaired until I pay my mechanic (he's honest to a fault, I trust no one else). I want to stop begging for Mutual Aid so badly, I thought moving would help make it possible but I wasn't counting on continued criminally high inflation, and State Farm price gouging. Saving $160/ month on insurance will be hugely helpful if I can get the car fixed.
