ED concludes arguments on charges in ‘land-for-jobs’ case against Lalu Yadav, family New Delhi, March 14 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Enforcement Directorate (ED), on Saturday, concluded its arguments before a Delhi court on the issue of framing of charges in a money laundering case linked to the alleged land-for-jobs scam involving Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and members of his family. Arguing before the Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court, the ED said that the evidence collected during the probe clearly established the elements necessary for framing charges under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

ED attaches further Anil Ambani Group properties worth Rs 581 crore New Delhi, March 12 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Enforcement Directorate on Thursday said it has attached another lot of properties, worth more than Rs 581 crore, of Anil Ambani group companies Reliance Home Finance Limited (RHFL) and Reliance Commercial Finance Limited (RCFL). An order was issued on March 11 to attach land parcels in Goa, Kerala, Karnataka, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Delhi, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) said in a statement.

Excise policy case: Delhi HC issues notice on ED plea against trial court remarks New Delhi, March 10 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Delhi High Court on Tuesday issued notice on a plea filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) seeking expunging of certain adverse observations made against it by a trial court while discharging all accused, including AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, in the excise policy case. A single-judge Bench of Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma directed the top AAP leaders and other respondents to file their responses to the ED’s petition, and indicated that the matter would be heard along with the Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) plea challenging the discharge order passed by the Rouse Avenue Court.

ED intensifies probe into Andhra Pradesh liquor case Vijayawada, March 9 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Enforcement Directorate (ED) intensified its investigation into the multi-crore liquor scam in Andhra Pradesh by questioning four accused here on Monday. Krishnamohan Reddy was questioned by the ED officials for two hours while the questioning of Dhanunjay Reddy, Venkatesh Naidu and Bonneti Chanakya was continuing.
