Comet running towards the mines, brandishing an axe as she yells "It's not safe up there! Get behind me, Edda!"
Comet stops and looks on as Edda flies past her, knocked aside by a monster or something as she screams "AHHHHHHHH!" Comet's response is simply "Wait, no, that's too far behind me."
Comet took a shine to the young conjurer she found moping around the Carline Canopy. Unfortunately, it's gonna be a bit before Edda's ready for prime time.

So this is kind of a weeds deep sort of explanation but so Alisaie and Alphinaud in this AU are basically Deimos and Phobos, but like, gestures vaguely, they have more importance than just helper guardian stuff. Kind of parallel to Helios and whatnot. Anyway. Gaybies. Alisaie, looking embarrassed: So you... ah... saved me, hm?
Alisaie: Heard you put the whole world on the line for me. That was rather stupid.
