100 cybercrime FIRs registered in 10 days under C-Mitra initiative of Hyderabad Police Hyderabad, Jan 19 (SocialNews.XYZ) 'C-Mitra' -- the novel initiative launched by the Hyderabad Police to assist victims of cybercrime in registering First Information Reports (FIRs) without having to visit a police station, has facilitated over 100 FIRs in 10 days. Police said the initiative, the first of its kind in the country, has begun yielding significant results. ECI irked over delay in registering FIRs against poll officers ‘manipulating’ voters’ enrolment Kolkata, Jan 11 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Election Commission of India (ECI) has taken exception to the unnecessary delay on the part of two District Magistrates, also the District Electoral Officers, in West Bengal, over the delay in registering FIRs against four electoral officers in the state accused of manipulations in the enrolment of voters. The Commission, on Saturday, sent reminders to the District Magistrates and District Electoral Officers of South 24 Parganas and East Midnapore districts, through the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), West Bengal, not to further delay the process of registering FIRs against these four electoral officers.

İngiltere’de ‘Yabancı Etki Kayıt Programı’ yürürlüğe girdi İngiltere İçişleri Bakanlığı’nın açıklamasına göre, ülke ekonomisini, demokrasisini ve toplumunu hedef alan yabancı kaynaklı faaliyetlerle mücadele amacıyla geliştirilen ‘Yabancı Etki Kayıt Programı’ (FIRS), 1 Temmuz itibarıyla yürürlüğe girdi. İlk olarak nisan ayında gündeme gelen programın, siyasi etki faaliyetlerine karşı hazırlıkları kolaylaştıracağı belirtildi. Açıklamada, FIRS’in iki aşamalı bir sistem olacağı ifade edildi. Birinci aşama, siyasi seçim adayları, milletvekilleri, üst düzey karar vericiler ve grupların İngiltere’deki lobi faaliyetlerini kapsayacak; ikinci aşama ise daha geniş bir kapsam sunacak. ‘Geniş Katman’ olarak adlandırılan bu aşamada, İngiltere’nin güvenliği ve çıkarlarına tehdit oluşturan ülkelerin faaliyetleri hedef alınacak ve özellikle Rusya ile İran’ın tüm faaliyetleri bu kapsamda değerlendirilecek. Açıklamada, İran ve Rusya’ya bağlı her türlü kurumun, Devrim Muhafızları, istihbarat birimleri, güvenlik ile ilgili bakanlıklar ve silahlı kuvvetler dahil, İngiltere’deki faaliyetlerini kaydetme zorunluluğu olduğu vurgulandı.
