A bathroom mirror selfie with my phone in front of my face. Im wearing, and attempting to show off, a completed hand knit sweater. Worked in a self striping yarn in shades of dark and light blue, with bits of pink too. Its a loose fitting, drapey knit with spokes of knit stitch radiating from the collar.

It's lovely and cosy on.
Yarn is also kinda sticky (for an acrylic) so I have hope that my added steeks will survive!

I was so excited to receive an Uhura Wooble for my birthday from my mom! She’s absolutely my favorite character on TOS (Scotty & Spock are my other favs). I made her look like SNW Uhura though & kept humming her song from the musical episode while I was making her.

Yarn is Opal Schafpate Sock in colourway Thelma.

#FOFriday 🧶 again, and I finished my first Musselburgh hat! Very pleased with this, as I love the yarn and I love the pattern, once I had determined I needed to make a smaller size than my actual head in order for it to stay on properly! I even managed to block it.

#FOFriday has come around again, and I have another shawl done and on the blocking mat. This version of Solstice is knit in Holst Garn Tides, colourway Orchid. Blocking is difficult at the moment as the weather is cold and dreich and the only space large enough is the unheated conservatory🙄🧶

A hand-sized crochet creature with a teardrop shaped body sitting on the wide end, two small feet splayed in front, and a single large bulging eye in the middle of the body. Yarn is a variegated maroon, blue, and deep burgundy, and the eye is white yarn with a red sparkly safety eye in the middle. The body and feet have been brushed to make them fuzzy. It's cuter than it sounds.

This Wisp was so close to being finished in November, but then waited two months to finally get an eye. Now it can be a #FOFriday project!

Made by me using the Wisp pattern by Megan Lapp of #CraftyIntentions. 🧶 Patons Classic Wool from my stash. Eye by Chateau Bornais Crochet.

A flat lay of an asymmetric shawl. It’s knit in two different yarns (a smooth sock yarn and a fuzzy suri silk) dyed in the same soft green colorway with speckles of darker green. It has stripes of garter stitch and a simple la e pattern. Pattern: Birds of a Feather by Andrea Mowry Yarn: both dyed by Clockwork Fiber Co (back when they had the former Beachy Breeze Fibers branding) in the same colorway, “April Showers.” One skein of BoardwalkSock and one skein of Suri Silk lace. Modifications: I had less yarn than specified by the pattern, so I followed some other modifications from project notes on Ravelry for a smaller size.
