Last Saturday I met some old friends from work and I introduced them to some modern board games.
I only took a few pictures 😂
Finally got to play Fit to Print again after quite some time and I really want to play Istanbul again.

Fit to print mid-game. Tiles of various sizes in rectangular or square shape are arranged on a board and several more are in the middle of a black table.
🎲♟️Played #FitToPrint for the first time this weekend. 4 player game. Managed to lose a tiebreaker condition. We played casual mode with a 5-minute timer. It's easy to over or under estimate the tiles you need to fill the space.

Panel 1: A character excitedly explains that Fit to Print has a 12-player "newsroom" real-time mode. Heinze reacts enthusiastically, saying, "Ohhh! I love that!" Panel 2: Rachel is looking really concerned and says, "Why did you tell him that? Heinze is obsessed with unpractical games, now he's going to be thinking about this all week!" The person who shared the info responds, "It can't be that bad?" Panel 3: At night, Heinze is wide awake in bed, taking notes. He says, "So if we already have 12 people over… we could also do the 12-player variant of Flamme Rouge... and if everyone brings a laptop… we could run two full starships in Artemis after lunch!" Rachel lies next to him, awake, looking exhausted. Starbuck is also still awake and playfully rolling on the bed end while Apollo is sleeping on Heinze's legs.
New comic! Breaking news: Local gamer hears ‘12-player real-time’ and spirals into an overambitious planning frenzy. 🗞️🚨

I got a new board game for my birthday called Fit To Print. It was a lot of fun with different levels of play for 1-6 players. We played the most basic version with 2 people and had a great time! Highly recommend.

Regardless of exactly what Bellingham said or what sentiment he intended to convey, it's the latest example of sport's curiously puritanical relationship with fruity language.
“Fruity” language? Is this a Britishism? First time I’ve heard that one.
Otherwise an unremarkable example of how “they” — sport and broadcast TV — avoid expletives as if the article is not part of the expletive avoidance phenomenon. #fittoprint

I'm confused by the Times's describing a term as "wildly obscene", and then using it openly throughout an article. Especially since they so often don't print other terms even when they're the entire focus of an article. #FitToPrint?

Today in #FitToPrint, the NYC, unusually, _does_ print an offensive word that an entire article is about. Perhaps it's more OK because it's the Italian word "frociaggine" rather than an English term?

We played two rounds of #FitToPrint and I think I'm finally getting more comfortable with the frenetic layout play. But I can still get knocked out at the last minute by the ad revenue rule.

We finally sat down to try #FitToPrint and it is quite the crazy game even at the "relaxed" 5 minute round. Even without the time, it's a tricky game.
