A selfie photo of me laying on a large curved pine tree limb above the steep incline of the forest floor which has a lot of patchy snow. Many more green pine trees can be seen ascending the mountain behind me.
I am laying down with my feet off frame to the right. I have black hike pants, and bright orange coat, and a red beenie knit cap with a yellow band around it. I'm smiling and have my head turned toward the camera slightly.
The big tree limb starts off frame to the right, and makes a gentle sweep upward toward the left, and heads straight up before reaching the left side of the frame. Moss can be seen on the tree under my head. More mosses and some ferns are on the forest floor beneath the big limb. The perspective from the camera is slightly upward.
The sky is visible through the trees in the background uphill, and it is a blank featureless overcast.
#ForestFriday brings me to this happy, relaxed moment!
Call it #ForestBathing, #Relaxing, or just being a goof, it felt nice to just be cradled by this tree for a while, after a steep ascent. So I did the selfie, then just sat and listened to the forest sounds. #π· #π²#EastCoastKin #Hiking #PNW #vibes
