He's having trouble connecting all the dots, figuring out why this otherwise helpless bunny that was scratching up his face a couple of hours ago is lying completely limp and relaxed underneath him. He can't figure it out. He keeps staring tor another minute, making connections, thinking through all the angles. Then he curls up and sticks his nose under Pebble's chin and the two of them drift off to sleep together. Whatever's going on, he's gonna go along with it <3

Sam isn't buying it. "No I know what you were thinking. It's just that it was really, really dumb."
