Today was the last day of #FrogID Week 2024! 🐸 The frogs at our local wetlands heard the news and kindly helped by Singing Loudly! Southern Brown Tree Frogs and Eastern Dwarf Tree Frogs! 🐸🐸
Tonight we had the absolute privilege of attending a FrogID Night Walk with Dr Jodi Rowley at Manly Dam! Dr Rowley is the lead scientist and creator of the #FrogID app!! 🐸 We found lots of Common Eastern Froglets and some newly laid Striped Marsh Frog eggs! A big thank you to Dr Rowley!!

Tonight we have been to Sandringham to record frogs for #FrogID Week! It was a bit chilly but we heard lots of Spotted Marsh Frogs, lots of Pobblebonk Frogs and one optimistic Peron’s Tree Frog!

It’s #FrogID week and I feel blessed to have these monsters around home - this is a Giant Barred Frog (Mixophyes iteratus), the size of a generously proportioned Cane Toad. Size 10 shoe for scale!
