Below the horizon you can see into the Grand Canyon to the North Rim, and The Colorado River is visible snaking out from the center of the photo off to the right side of the frame. This photo was taken with an iPhone in 2013, and at the time I was really into filters. If I remember correctly, I had used a filter on this photo, but the original wasn't too different. It was an absolutely breathtaking moment in real life, and I wish I still had the original file to compare it to!

Photo of a pair of very dusty pair of beat-up looking hiking boots on a wood deck. The boots are untied with laces all tangled up, and the tops of the boots hanging wide open with the tongue flopping out. They are so heavily coated in dust that the colors are all muted and difficult to see. In reality, these were very new boots that had only been out on a few hikes before i wore them on a backpacking trip to Havasupai.
