Loads of pregnancy related proteins - and peptides identified on our 7600 ZenoTof and PEAKS search.
Favourite hit - corticosteroid releasing hormone. Circulates at ~ 100 pg/mL!
Oh - and #GDF15 showed up again!
3/ First, we focused on #FGF21 and #GDF15, two metabokines affecting energy balance.
We found that GDF15 transiently increased upon diet-induced weight loss whereas FGF21 decreased following weight-loss maintenance with combined exercise and GLP-1 analog.
#GDF15 "was found to be the most significant plasma protein associated with brain aging". More UK Biobank data.
