The #GFS and #ECMWF model runs continue to keep most of California dry through the end of the month. If these forecasts verify, many locations along the Central Coast will fall below normal rainfall for this point in the rain season (July 1 through June 30).

Not seen a number that high before. Old rule of thump is a peak ground temperature 17 or 18C above the 850T.

ça été compliqué avec Cartopy pour tracer les données en mode orthographique. Ici un exemple des champs de geopotentiels et températures à 850 hPa. I va faire froid aux Staaaates !!!

Hey, is anyone else not seeing the 18z run for ECMWF/only the 12z now loading? Its not 18z yet, but it looks like the runs are delayed 6 hours or something. Mostly on Pivotal Weather, but Tropical Tidbits seems the same. #wxsky #ecmwf #gfs #nwp
