Gameboy style pixel art of a gameboy knockoff. Instead of reading "Nintendo GAME BOY TM" on the front, it says "ClumsyGolem GAME DAD TM". The system is clearly on and the screen reads "PAUSED".

A photo of the components inside the PiTin unit. The previously glued together speaker has come apart and some of the black on the outer membrane is stuck to the grill of the printed cover.
Hrmm. Speaker sounded terrible after loading some games so I went to investigate. The front face of the speaker seems to have laminated itself to the printed grille? I printed this a week ago. It wasn’t a hot part. Can a speaker get that hot?

An assembled version of the handheld components pictured in a previous post. It is now a small flip screen handheld with a basic dpad and four button controls. The screen is showing the splash screen for retropie.

On a workbench sits a cutting mat standing in for a proper esd mat that I don’t own. On top of the cutting mat sits a handful of 3d printed parts, loose circuit boards, one speaker, a small display, and a LiPo pouch cell battery.
Let’s see if I can turn this into a #gamedad …
