I watched this wee wren hop around our front patio for ages, flitting here, hopping there, busy, busy, busy. Love this bird
the picture is of a rusted metal flower. It has long rusted, layered petals in a big arc and visible behind those petals are long metal stamens with circular tips poking out over the top of the petals. Between 2 of these stamens the wren's tail is sticking upwards, almost as if it is trying to resemble one of the stamens. You can see the nut brown and dark brown stripes on the underside of its tail and its white bum
