“Meaningful Speech” & “Speech Den” (ie Marge Blanc) would have us believe #GestaltLanguageProcessors (minimally or non-speaking kids)

➡️ need no visuals *at all* to learn language (they only have to listen)

BUT

➡️ they can learn literacy ONLY by seeing it? No phonics??
