This photo-we don’t know who took this so apologies to whoever did for our use of it- shows 2 cats near the bottom of a steep stone staircase. The ginger cat-a step above-has its paws around the neck of a tabby below as if in an embrace, seeming to “kiss” the tabby’s cheek. Meanwhile, midway up the staircase are 3 more cats, sitting and staring at the pair below. Near the top 4 more cats are also staring down at the couple - all the onlookers gawp at the “Love Cats” as if to say, “Get a room!” Tbh, for all we know, those 2 at the bottom could actually be in the midst of a catfight! But their pose is so sweet, we choose to see them as cuddling & kissing. (Yes, we’re anthropomorphising again: applying human characteristics to animals…and why not, just for the sweet fun of it?) For further ALT description, this is a very steep stone (possibly slate?) staircase, out in the open air, with a metal handrail along the lefthand side, through which some wild greenery is growing. As I said, we don’t know who took this photo & hope they won’t mind us posting it, as it’s perfect for our half-month theme of “Love.” And today IS Friday, so…The Cure’s🎵Friday I’m In Love” - or their song🎵The Lovecats🎵 - both seem perfect soundtracks here.
