Yep. I grew up in the 1960s. We played outside all day, esp in summer, when we stayed out till about 10.30 at weekends. We only came in for our tea. Made our own way to and from school. Ok there was less traffic, but we knew how to cross roads safely as we had lollipop folk and the #GreenCrossCode
