👍 Engagement patterns differ across languages, revealing distinct communication ecosystems. More qualitative research is needed to understand how health info spreads in Spanish-speaking communities and how local institutions shape public health messages online. #BreastCancer #HealthComms

Drowning in data doesn’t mean we’ve found direction. Health is science and story. Even great products need constant, human reaffirmation—not just clinical proof.

Delays, under-recruitment, and missed targets often have shared roots:
— Poor initial contact
— Inaccessible materials
— Underinvested communication
This tool helps quantify those effects.

Unclear or inaccessible trial materials increase site workload, reduce inclusion, and create delays.
This tool helps estimate those impacts based on real trial cost factors:

🧍♂️ Physiotherapists need strong communication, not just strong treatments.
Patients booking. Doctors referring. Teams coordinating. You need a phone system that moves with you.

Above the words "LGBT+ History Month: The Archives" sits a clipping from a newspaper that contains the image of a GMFA travel card holder with the words "London Lube - Make a pass" and a phallic version of the London Tube logo on one side, and the picture of buttocks and the caption "Squeeze it out" on the other side. Next to this sits a short article advertising the "TRAVELHARD" Travelcard holder. The clipping reads: Just what every piece of teen trouble needs, a sneaky old Travelcard holder to keep the condom, lube and safer sex reminders in. GMFA, out there on their own when it comes to brainwaves for spreading the word about keeping it safe, have developed this little gimmick which they'll be giving away on the Victoria Line, which is the line you'll need to get to Brockwell Park on Pride Day. Well, when the teens aren't getting the message in school, fun and funky tricks like this are lifesavers.
So take action on your health - book that test, find out about PrEP or pick up a condom today.

Infographic comparing common symptoms of the respiratory illnesses of cold, flu, allergies, RSV, and COVID. All illnesses share sore throat, runny nose, and cough symptoms. Unique symptoms of allergies are itchy eyes and caused by allergen, for RSV it is wheezing and loss of appetite, for COVID it is loss of taste or smell and chest pain, for cold it is mild symptoms that are short lived, for flu it is sudden onset and severe aches and exhaustion. The infographic encourages readers to think about what their “sick” is by looking at unique symptoms and to confirm with a diagnostic test like a combination test for flu, RSV, and Covid. Then the graphic encourages getting appropriate treatment, resting, and preventing spread or future disease by taking appropriate measures like vaccines for viral diseases and staying indoors if sick.
I created this infographic after having a baby and never knowing what “sick” I or my friends had when we’d say “hey I want to hang out but I think I caught something, not sure what…” This already helped me a bit to process-of-elimination some illnesses during this sick season!
