We launched a project to create a hex map of UK wards, the aim to arrange 8,396 wards by local authority. At the end of last week we finally arranged the last hexagon; the map is now complete. Behold!

I've been using the program Miro to make hexmaps that everyone can access and manipulate at the same time. Perfect for sandboxes. I thought of the idea after watching @3d6dtl.bsky.social use it for dungeon mapping Arden Vul.

I have an irrational love of hex maps, considering I rarely use them.
