A scary experience. Car cut out & died on a busy motorway - no time or space to pull left to the filter lane & hard shoulder. Just me & the dog in a car while traffic thundered past on both sides. Hazards on & 999 call later .. huge thank you to #KentPolice & #HighwaysAgency & Recovery person. Phew

A lot of trees in a gorge spanned by a former railway bridge of wrought iron lattice trusses

Cyclist crosses a railway bridge which has internal barriers separating the cycle path from the original railway parapets. In Roslin.

Passed to Midlothian Council from BRB (Residiary) Ltd through the good offices of the Scotiish Viaducts Committee, which has since been wound up - remaining #HRE infrastructure still with #HighwaysAgency. It's high up in a gorge- those trees are tall.

It's only natural
