A historic black-and-white map of Edinburgh from 1742, showing detailed street layouts and landmarks. The Nor Loch, a large body of water once used for defense and waste disposal, is prominently displayed north of the Old Town. Edinburgh Castle is visible on the left, overlooking the city’s dense medieval streets. The map is highly detailed, with ornate coats of arms and decorative typography at the top.
