On this International Women’s Day, I thank talented Canadian comic performer, writer & instructor Aurora Browne.
[# redacted] years ago at Toronto’s Second City Training Centre, Aurora made certain that the students in her sketch comedy writing class understood that female characters could play substantive & even central roles, not just girlfriends, wives & assistants.
