Just rewatched #ImitationGame which emphasises the vile nature of homophobia, well ALL forms of hatred & discrimination. I'm all for learning from our experiences, but the persecution of someone who did so much for the world is unforgiveable. I don't call for tolerance, I demand respect & equality❤️

Rewatched the #ImitationGame - still struggling with British institutions claiming Turing as intellectual hero 70 years after driving him to suicide. Dozens if not hundreds of the most senior government officials including PM Churchill could have saved him in 1951-2. They didn't. Le Carre was right.
