Chicken-Shrimp-Laksa with Udon noodles. Laksa is a traditional curry from Southeast Asia. I use a vegetarian Laksa paste which I prepare myself, and add coconut milk, champignons, chicken and shrimp dumplings.
2011 Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese*** 13% Markus Molitor from the Moselle River is off-dry and goes well with the Laksa Curry.
2016 Jesuitengarten Riesling GG from Bassermann-Jordan from the Palatinate region (Pfalz) is a dry wine which also goes well with the Laksa Curry as the curry isn't too spicy.
2021 Jodokus Beerenauslese 9.5% from Drautz-Able from the Württemberg region is a sweet wine made from the Kerner grape. The variety is rare nowadays but 50 years ago it was well-known. It tastes like a cuvée of Riesling and Müller-Thurgau. Excellent wine and not a bad combination with the Laksa Curry but the dry and off-dry wines fit better.
