Any Jojo fan out everywhere (even the ones that casually stay turned to the franchise and/or the ones that are constantly pending of the new) knows that the anime adaptation of the god-made Steel Ball Run is coming, as is coming pretty big and desirable. All the Jojo fans have been waiting for this adapted part for years, and the hype is being breathed everywhere. The anime adaptation is scheduled to stream on Netflix starting March 19th with a special episode (let’s pray Greedflix don’t make the same mistake they did with Stone Ocean, and respect the weekly episode release with Steel Ball Run, since being the most favorite part in the fandom, it’s crucial they don’t screw up this one for return on the Jojo franchise the hype they had in previous adapted parts) telling the first segments of the story, and since this important event is coming this month, I decide to celebrate it combining two of my favorite things into a new commission, which is this occasion, I combined Tamacolle and Jojo. Taking Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli as the main starts of Steel Ball Run, I was wondering which characters from Tamacolle fits better to portray them; as I saw it in the entire Tamacolle catalog, I think the best to fit into the roles are Bungo and Kii, respectively. Bungo is portraying Johnny Joestar because of the similarities; Johnny’s sarcastic personality, Bungo’s grumpy attitude, both are very determined every time they go for a specific goal… you get the picture. Kii portrays Gyro Zeppeli because of their similarities too; both have easy-going personalities, both care deeply for others, both act older than their actual appearance/ages when serious… another idea got, right? What do you think? Do the Tamacolle characters fit their respective Jojo cosplay? Or would you actually pick different characters? Let me know in the comments.
