Final thought on #KickAss2 - uh, does the character of #KickAss turn into a groomer? Because #KickAss2 sure made #KickAss3 look like it was heading in that direction. Why on Earth would the protagonist choose to go in that direction, considering all the ass he already got from females HIS OWN AGE? Ⓐ
I actually consider the denouement of #KickAss2 - to have been a fitting end to the series. It is clear the filmmakers WANTED a #KickAss3 to happen - but I have a feeling that movie would have sucked (because it wouldn’t be able to bring anything “new” or remotely “different” to the table). Ⓐ
Sadly, for the end of #KickAss2 - it has a lame final showdown (as in, a huge battle between an army of heroes and an army of villains). So the film was too afraid to opt for an unconventional ending - and instead decided to descend into conventionality. Oh well. Ⓐ
Saw #KickAss2 - much to my surprise, I found this sequel EVEN MORE AWESOME than its predecessor. The sequel is even more cruel and vicious than its predecessor - and as far as superhero movies go, is QUITE unconventional! Though that very unconventionality - put off many fans of the first film. Ⓐ
