Though he appeared in the prequel trilogy, we don’t have many stories about him and he rarely appeared in </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Clone Wars</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> animated series. </span></p><p> </p><div style="margin: 0 0 50px 0;"> <script language="javascript" src="https://live.primis.tech/live/liveView.php?s=117066&schain=1.0,1!snack-media.com,SNM_3471,1" type="0a3efc42bdad5a0af85d15fc-text/javascript"></script> </div><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">His character had a little bit more to do in Legends continuity as he came up against renegade Jedi <a href="https://www.starwarsnewsnet.com/2024/05/quinlan-vos-star-wars-character-spotlight.html" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Quinlan Vos</a> in Expanded Universe comics, but Kolar was left out of Vos’ story in current canon. </span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The character was only created because Lucasfilm couldn’t bring back <a href="https://www.starwarsnewsnet.com/2024/12/eeth-koth-star-wars-character-spotlight.html" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Eeth Koth</a>’s actor for </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Attack of the Clones</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> and they attempted to recast him with Tux Akindoyeni, possibly due to the fact the movie was shot in Australia instead of England, where </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Phantom Menace</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> was filmed. When George Lucas decided continuity was more important to him than recasting a character, he created the character of Agen Kolar specially for Tux.</span></p><p> </p><h2><span style="color: #f7e028;"><b>Origins</b></span></h2><p> </p><div style="display: flex; align-items: center; justify-content: center; margin: 10px auto; text-align: center; width: 100%; min-height: 250px;"><div id="snack_dex2"></div></div><p><a data-imagelightbox="0" data-rel="lightbox-gallery-FXsL0kq8" data-rl_caption="" data-rl_title="" href="https://www.starwarsnewsnet.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/agen-kolar-close-up-e1739359244486.webp" title=""><img alt="Agen Kolar close up" class="size-large wp-image-167940 aligncenter" height="587" loading="lazy" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" src="https://www.starwarsnewsnet.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/agen-kolar-close-up-e1739359244486-1024x751.webp" srcset="https://www.starwarsnewsnet.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/agen-kolar-close-up-e1739359244486-1024x751.webp 1024w, https://www.starwarsnewsnet.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/agen-kolar-close-up-e1739359244486-300x220.webp 300w, https://www.starwarsnewsnet.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/agen-kolar-close-up-e1739359244486-768x563.webp 768w, https://www.starwarsnewsnet.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/agen-kolar-close-up-e1739359244486.webp 1111w" width="800"/></a></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Agen Kolar was actually born on Coruscant instead of a Zabrak homeworld, and was brought to the Jedi as soon as he displayed Force sensitivity.
