Sign advising against the 3 D’s (Damage to people, Destruction of the environment & Disposal of single use waste) from Disposable barbecues and to choose something with the 3 L’s (legs to avoid heat transfer into the ground, Lid to contain flames, heat, ash and residue, Lifting handles to aid removal/movement)

It’s a shame that ALL bbqs have to be banned simply because of the inherent faults and dangers of disposable bbqs

In the absence of a full ‘ban’ Portable fire trays (disposable barbecues) need regulating to drastically reduce the risk of injury and destruction and to encourage less waste.

If these came with legs, a lid and handles, there would be drastically reduced chance of heat transfer to ignite the fire on the ground, flames & post bbq residue could be contained and they could be easily moved/removed when required.
