Thank you @patrickhurley.bsky.social for sharing his own personal experiences and for highlighting the devastating impact of #lesssurvivablecancers on individuals and their loved ones in Parliament yesterday. These cancers must be a priority in the National Cancer Plan to transform survival.
Huge thanks to @clivejonesmp.bsky.social for sponsoring yesterday's debate in Westminster, and for calling for faster diagnosis for #LessSurvivableCancers. Early detection and faster diagnosis are vital to saving lives and driving better outcomes for those affected by these deadly cancers.
Innovations like this show the potential to shift the dial, but only if paired with urgent investment in earlier detection and faster diagnosis as outlined in the most recent report of the APPG on Less Survivable Cancers.

Brain tumours, like all the #LessSurvivableCancers, have not seen the required improvements in outcomes for years.
