Black text on a soft green background that reads: I've been doing post-op massage since 2023 and here's what I've seen work. 1. Start lymphatic massage at 5-10 post. This give you time to settle into your body. 2. Expect at least weekly appointments, each between 30-60 minutes long, for the first 8-12 weeks. 3. Wean off massages and compression to avoid shocking your system!
Black text on a soft green background that reads: Fibrosis is stagnant swelling. Improper compression and pooled fluid contribute to this. By having a professional evaluate and treat swelling at least once a week, the chances of fibrosis developing after lipo are reduced. If fibrosis does show up, a therapist trained in both MLD and post-op care will know how to handle it. We can prevent and treat fibrosis!
Lymphatic massages after liposuction reduce swelling & pain, prevent & treat fibrosis, and get you the best result!
