I spot my favourite 1588 Welsh Bible! Given to Westminster Abbey Library by Rev William Morgan at the end of its printing which Morgan oversaw, while staying with his Welsh friend Gabriel Goodman, Dean of Westminster.
Thank you for keeping it safe.

Two bookcases with square shelves full of books and other memorabilia, including board games and photos. Notable books include The Last Days of Sylvia Plath and David Lynch: Interviews.
A small wooden bookcase neatly stocked with various books. Other items, such as figurines, photos, and a small globe, are in front of the books.
The top two shelves of a gray bookcase. The lower shelf is full of books published by University Press of Mississippi. The top shelf is stacked with books by or about Eudora Welty.

Knopf travel guides were the first illustrated guides I came across, & were so much fun to peruse & plan with before the internet. Knopf seems to have stopped making them around 2007. My treasured copies on Library Shelfie Day.

It’s #LibraryShelfieDay and we’re giving a little love to our local library in Mere. Tucked away on Barton Lane, it may be small, but it’s perfectly formed and full of good books and familiar faces. Opened in 1970 in what was once a school building, it’s been quietly serving readers ever since.

3 shelves of books, many of which have decorative binding.
Today is #LibraryShelfieDay. Here we have 3 shelves of beautifully bound books donated to the library by Francis Lascelles-Hadwen. Lascelles-Hadwen, who bound most of the books himself, was a Demy student at Magdalen in the 1940s.
My shelfie isn’t as nice as most, but I like it.
Also, the lighting in my apartment continues to be a travesty.

Photograph of a set of shelves in a library. A printed sign reads "graphic novels" and a number of books are shown, some facing forward, others shelved normally.
Happy #libraryshelfieday. Wanted to share my favorite shelf in my local library: the new graphic novels releases shelf.
I had a heck of a time finding it yesterday, cause they moved it since the last time I was there, but ultimately I discovered it... and five books that I immediately borrowed.
