#Linux annoyances: #LightDM hardcodes spammy .xsession-errors log file location into user's $HOME and there is no way to workaround it other than patching the program itself. Very annoying on a #lowend #Pi.

Unfortunately both Mint and NixOS use the #LightDM #DisplayManager which Canonical abandoned 2 years ago. 617MB Memory Usage, 0.68 CPU Load, 7.1GB Disk Usage and 20 second Reboot time are all poor performance metrics compared to other options. Support this project at liberapay.com/craft/donate.

Raspberry Pi 5、5V3A アダプタ 、USBメモリ型SSDにて ArchLinux でのデスクトップ環境の構築に成功しました。
とはいえ、うちにあるテレビだと1280x720固定、PC用ディスプレイだと1920x1080固定で、変更も効かない感じですが。
