I used to walk 165 miles in 10 days every month for a running group. My legs ached through out this book.

That's at least a couple warnings. He is not going fast enough.
The #longwalk movie is excellent. It was my favorite book of his and it's probably now one of my favorite movies made from books. It's an extremely direct adaptation.
