Does the hawk symbolize Agnes's youth, freedom and individuality/agency? Probably! It's also a hawk, too, and we loved that guy. Sad, but hawks don't live forever. None of us does.

Oh, boy, something about this. It's very pieta, almost like religious iconography for areligious people, like moi.

I'm quickly losing track of the number of times I've been moved to tears by #Hamnet. This is worse than #Paddington and #LoveActually (by which I mean more powerful and moving) (Paddington is surprisingly powerful and moving, though).

I find just the tableaux/image very healing.

Not all of it works (see the precocious child), but Colin Firth, Hugh Grant, Laura Linney and Emma Thompson are all tremendous. The film has been cancelled for sexism and fat-shaming.
