If we had a US version of the Shanghai #Maglev #Train system here, a coast to coast trip would take around 9 hours (NY-LA) and with moderate subsidies for ticket prices cost 1/3 - 2/3 the price of economy class

There will undoubtedly have to be raises in #StatePensionAge, maybe downgrading some minor roads, perhaps slowing planned increases in #StandardRateofUC, a variety of #economymeasures while expanding #railways (especially #HighSpeedRail and #Maglev) #tram and #busservices.
