This is my own view of #ADSBexchange, showing only aircraft that were identified using my Mode-S/ADS-B receiver (and up to 3 others for multilateration/ #MLAT) The purple aircraft went out of range while at ~40,000ft, showing the maximum range I can pick up aircraft from Carp, Ontario 🇨🇦 (~407km).

It takes light ~0.1ms to travel 30km. #ADSBexchange receivers need to be 30km apart to be able to figure out where aircraft that aren't transmitting their location are, through multilateration #MLAT.
