The #MNStateFair is owned by the State of MN, run by The Minnesota State Agricultural Society. Considering the USDA has just held all federal funding including funding to #Farmers I find it difficult to reconcile how #ICE has been allowed to stage there. @governorwalz.mn.gov?

They could also get drunk. And if they did, a team of neuroscientists from the local university was waiting to gently torture them. The researchers were on site to test how well alcohol can numb pain. Although booze’s analgesic effect has been understood for centuries, experts did not know if it continued or tailed off with greater consumption. Testing either hypothesis in a controlled trial, where guidelines limit how much a subject can be asked to consume, is difficult. “Ethically, we can’t ask people to drink alcohol to levels they do in their day-to-day lives,” says Jeff Boissoneault of the Minnesota Alcohol and Pain lab

There were a lot of people complaining about $5 for an ear of corn at the #MNStateFair but have any of those people ever seen what it takes to grow/harvest/cook that corn?? The harvesters put bags between legs bend to pick 50 ears, then do it over again. Roasters work in intense heat, then shucking!
