Solo parenting this week means just one run a day and squeezing sessions in between kids and work! Felt like I could have run steady pace forever. Feeling good ✌🏼 in my favourite shoes, the #HOKA #MachX2
7 x 1k (2 min) Marker session last night. I’ve only done one of these before.
Getting sub-3 minute average is stuff of dreams, but managed 2:56.7/km average last night! Buzzing. Not bad for a man fast approaching 40!

My own experience – last year (my first year of running), I trained for a half marathon in the #Hoka #Mach6 and wanted something fast and bouncy for the race. So I treated myself to the #MachX2, worn during the last block of training and the race. And it worked out really well 🥳
New shoes day: the #HOKA Mach X 2.
I had the chance to try these a couple of months ago at a track session and loved the stability, response, and cushioning.
