Mit der integrierten **Nextcloud Mail App** lässt sich ein externes Postfach bequem zentral verwalten. In diesem Beitrag zeige ich, wie ein **Mailcow-Postfach** sauber und zuverlässig in **Nextcloud Mail** eingebunden wird. * * * ## Voraussetzungen Bevor wir starten, sollte Folgendes vorab vorhanden sein: * Eine **funktionierende Mailcow-Installation** * Ein **bestehendes E-Mail-Postfach** in Mailcow * Eine **laufende Nextcloud-Instanz** * Zugangsdaten zum Mailcow-Postfach: * E-Mail-Adresse * Passwort * Die Mailcow-Serverdaten (IMAP/SMTP) * Ein **gültiges SSL-Zertifikat** für Mailcow (sehr empfohlen) * * * ## Mailcow Serverdaten ermitteln In einer Standard-Mailcow-Installation lauten die Serverdaten meist: **IMAP** * Server: `mail.deinedomain.tld` * Port: `993` * Verschlüsselung: `SSL/TLS` **SMTP** * Server: `mail.deinedomain.tld` * Port: `587` * Verschlüsselung: `STARTTLS` * Authentifizierung: erforderlich * Benutzername: vollständige E-Mail-Adresse Die verfügbaren Ports können via telnet getestet werden, eine erfolgreiche Ausgabe sieht wie folgt aus: telnet mail.deinedomain.tld 993 telnet mail.deinedomain.tld 587 * * * ## Nextcloud Mail App installieren (falls noch nicht geschehen) * Als Admin in Nextcloud anmelden * **Apps** öffnen (rechts oben) * Nach **Mail** in „Büro & Text“ suchen * Die App installieren und anschließend prüfen, ob die App aktiv ist Nach der Installation erscheint im Hauptmenü das **Briefumschlag-Symbol**. * * * ## Mailcow Postfach in Nextcloud einrichten ### 1. Mail App öffnen * In Nextcloud auf **Mail** klicken (oben links) * Beim ersten Start wird eine Kontoeinrichtung gestartet ### 2. E-Mail-Adresse eingeben * Vollständige Mailadresse eintragen (wird auf die manuelle Einrichtung übertragen!) * Auf **Manuell** klicken ### 3. It took _way_ too much effort to get #AppFlowy working on my #YunoHost server. Not to mention that all outbound #Email is handled by my #MailCow server so had to set up a SMTP Relay and credentials on the MailCow server so it could authenticate. Automatisches DNS-Setup mit Cloudflare- und Mailcow-API - NET73 Wenn du mehrere Domains mit Mailcow betreibst, wiederholt sich immer derselbe Nervkram: MX setzen, SPF schreiben, DKIM eintragen, DMARC hinterher, Autoconfig und Co. nicht vergessen. Weil ich darauf keine Lust mehr hatte, erledigt das bei mir jetzt ein Bash-Script, das: die DNS-Zone bei Cloudflare findet den DKIM-Key automatisch aus der Mailcow-API zieht alle relevanten DNS-Records

Noch ein Beitrag - mehr von Nerd für Nerds: DNS-Einstellungen einer #Mailcow -Domain ( #docker) automatisch auf #cloudflare aktualisieren. Das ist der nervige Aufwand, wenn man OFT Domains auf Mailservern wechselt.

Just spent the last 30 minutes going through 2 years of my #Inbox and moving/ marking crap to/ as #Junk that I missed and overlooked.

Sooooo much #SPAM.

According to my mail server's stats (#mailcow/ #rspamd) over 30% of all incoming #mail to my #domains is SPAM/ Junk.

Personally I would have gone with #Mailcow. Much easier to setup and administer. As much as I love #FreeBSD and #OpenBSD I sure as hell wouldn't recommend it for an SME.

ich Versuch das jetzt mal hier. Wollte meine Mailcow umziehen auf einen anderen Server.
Das ging auch soweit, nur bekommt der Unbound Container keine DNS Auflösung hin.

in der UFW ist ausgehend und eingehend der Port 53 offen.

es betrifft nur diesen Container […]

Fühle mich so doof 🙄 hatte die #Mailcow von Server a nach server b verschoben. Musste aber das Docker subnet ändern weil das ursprüngliche blockiert ist. Docker-compose sowie Mailcow.conf. Aber nach dem Start können die Container keine DNS Auflösung machen. 😩
