one of the best advice i have for everyone working with ruffles or big skirts: get a rolled hem sewing foot. It works so wonderfully and takes the stress out of the work. #memademay #memade#sewing

Finishing orojects trying to learn 1 beautiful thing at a time. This kimono has jersey bias tape on the cowl seam to help with sensory sensitivities and a band of chambray improvised to "clean the bottom" as i misread the instructions and messed. But the result is beautiful. #memademay #june

I wasn't going to post anything at all for #memademay but I'm genuinely proud of how this game of thread chicken played out.
1st #MeMadeMay in the books..successfully wore 1 me made item everyday. Definitely had some repeats but it was pretty easy and fun.
As Me Made May closes, I ended it in a dress from Draper James fabric and a dupe of a Draper James dress (there’s a slight ruffle and folded edge on the bottom, and I included pockets. Maybe I’ll kick insomnia tonight, as you can tell I’m lacking sleep. #memademay #draperjames
