Only a waste ground remains where the house once stood, so steeped in horror that not even grass grows there. Just the old tree, its bark permanently blackened by soot, holds the memory of happier days and recalls the deaths and the fire that tried to hide them.

Dracula's Castle was the first to me, and stayed #MorbidMarch
When its umbellifers were in full bloom, the tree saw the red stain on those white petals. Not long after that, it felt the heat of the nearby fire on its branches.
The elder's bark is furrowed. Memories nestle there. And also an inscription - a name hatefully scrawled out.

Trying to catch up. It's been a pretty chaotic week. That must be Stephen King's 'The Shining'. That hotel lost in the middle of nowhere still gives me the creeps #MorbidMarch
#MorbidMarch It watched as fire consumed wooden bones, the people fleeing with smoke trailing off of their clothes and hair. It witnessed the screams of those stuck inside. It lords over the ashes now, protecting the souls that were left to wander the grounds aimlessly. It lives where they can't.

#MorbidMarch In #TFTNG, one of the oldest living vampires known is a Spanish Alphosine (vampiric wolf shifter, per the world's lore) that is over 1,800 years old. He tends to take the "exhausted mentor" seat, and is quite fond of werewolves. He's a very dangerous character but also very chill, lol!
