Metascape enrichment analyses of marginally dysregulated genes in placentas of four mouse models of Down syndrome. (A) Heatmaps illustrating higher order aggregation of the enriched pathways for each model. All pathways within the top 20 clusters for each model were manually re-categorized into nine biological groups (shown at top). (B) Venn diagram showing overlap of enriched pathways in the 20 most significant functional clusters for each model. Fifteen pathways are shared among the four models, and ten additional pathways are shared among Ts65Dn, Dp16, and Ts66Yah.

I am excited to share that our latest work is now available as a preprint on BioRxiv.
In this study, we describe and characterize a Pglyrp1-Cre mouse model and uncover previously unappreciated heterogeneity among Pglyrp1-expressing cells across mucosal lymphoid tissues.

A key debate: can mouse models truly predict human Alzheimer's treatments? Many question the translatability, noting that induced Alzheimer's in mice differs significantly from the complex, naturally occurring human disease. #MouseModels 2/7

The mouse study's tumor elimination results are "impressive," but experts urge caution. Mouse models often don't translate directly to humans due to physiological differences & small sample sizes. A key hurdle for any breakthrough. #MouseModels 2/6

8/12 Liu's prevention-focused vaccine showed remarkable mouse model results.

Mice with humanized skin were infected with acne bacteria after vaccination.

Vaccinated mice remained acne-free while control group developed lesions.

Antibodies neutralized the harmful enzyme.
