Triple exposure of three different paintings. The first layer is the face, with the red eyes and blacked out mouth. This to me suggested forced silence which does seem appropriate for the current times. The next layer is the winters tree in the back. This hints at that song "Hanging Tree" which comes from film Hunger games. Finally, the peacock was the third painting. References the queer/trans individuals currently under attack in our country. Male birds are often the more brightly colored and perform dances to attract mates, with the massive display of the peacock's tale being one of the largest of these mating customs. The beauty that explodes from male birds truly appears to be the antithesis of the repressed human male today.

A painting that I love at the MIA. Love the light on the angel in the middle. She holds the hands of two labors in a field. the face is concerned and also sad, that you have lost your way so bad. That you are off the path so far. It is a call home. A call back. The forest needs you.
The Water Goddess Pictured is a woman, melting. Her hair is red like fire, but her body liquid. Colored in the reflections of a sunset on a lake.
The struggle. Angels lost on a boat. Attempting to find there way back together. To rise.
the alter is set. On the left, a child of the streets, gun in hand. On the right, an empty spot to interest your picture. It is time to rise, it is time to reclaim your peace.
