The talking horse King Paragon helps to solve the murder of his owner in S7E16 of Murder, She Wrote, "From the Horses Mouth".
Shakespeare is alluding to King Paragons Elisabethan predecessor, a talking and dancing horse named Morocco. Such a lovable creature was, naturally, deemed the instrument of the devil, and whilst on a visit to Rome, Morocco and his master were burned alive.
