You stay for one more week, Mike! *Falcons-Panthers (❌): Falcons and Panthers are really just going to alternate between sugar and shit each week, aren't they? *Packers-Browns (❌): That's the kind of choke you normally see the Browns make against a powerhouse like Green Bay, not the other way around! *Texans-Jaguars (❌): Wow, they may like actually have a problem. Like a lot of big problems. *Bengals-Vikings (✅): 2023 Browning really pulled the wool over my eyes, huh? Guess it's time for one of those years now. *Steelers-Patriots (✅): I'm so sick of the bullshit being real, man. *Rams-Eagles (✅): Rams really went from a statement revenge win to even more heartbreak in Philly just like that. *Jets-Buccaneers (✅): The first 90% was one of the most Jets ways to lose. The last 10% was the other most Jets way to lose. *Colts-Titans (✅): This is really the 4th time in 5 seasons that the first overall pick QB is saddled with a horrible head coach who'll inevitably be fired mid-season to confuse said QB with a new coach in year 2? When will franchises freaking learn? *Raiders-Commanders (✅): Pete Carroll's gonna need a lot more gum than I thought if this is how his team's faring against Marcus Mariota in 2025.
*Broncos-Chargers (✅): Yeah, maybe I should Nix any predictions I had before of Denver winning the West at this rate. *Saints-Seahawks (✅): Honestly the final score was merciful. I was genuinely wondering if at least a 60-burger (if not a 70-steamer) was in play after that first half. Guess the Saints figured playing close against two mid teams was enough and finally played down to their potential against another arguably kinda mid team. *Cowboys-Bears (❌): I have no idea if Caleb and Ben Johnson are finally onto something or if the Cowboys are just ready to be the forgettable cash-grab direct-to-video sequel to last year's Bengals. *Cardinals-49ers (✅): I knew this was going to be a goofy-ass drunk division, but I somehow didn't expect two of its teams to play this much like they actually were drunk. I feel like I know less about them after this game then before it. *Chiefs-Giants (✅): The Chiefs gave the Giants all the shots in the world and instead Daboll decided to start writing his own pink slip early by riding with Russ off a cliff bigger than Niagara Falls (which funnily enough may somehow be less washed than Russell Wilson is). *Lions-Ravens (❌): Not gonna lie, the prospect of the Ravens having a legit shitty defense feels genuinely surreal. Guess now they're about to know how I felt last year lol.
